Carrying the Olympic Flame for guide dogs

Long term guide dog owner, Rosamund van Leeuwen, is seen here carrying the Olympic Torch into Vancouver for the start of the Winter Olympics on February 12th year. Rosamund’s sister in law, Vonnie Paton, lives in Cork and is a member and supporter of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The World is a Runway Charity Fashion Show

Aiobhe Devlin from Balrothery, Co Dublin is organising her second fashion show in aid of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. Scheduled to take place on April 22nd at 8pm, in the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan, this year's event promises to be even bigger and better than last year. Seen above are two of the models who will be featured in the show, Rebecca Mc Gilloway and Megan Mc Auley, both from Skerries. Featured with them is is guide dog Sarge.

Lyza visits The Teresian School in Dublin

Puppy Walker Cathy Mac Aleavey recently visit the 3rd year transition year students at the Teresian School in Donnybrook, Dublin. The highlight was of course Puppy in Training, Lyza. The girls kindly presented Cathy with a cheque for €500 for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and a gift of potted flowers to say thank you for making the time to visit them.
