A word from Clipper Crew Member, Jacqui Browne
We are pleased to report that we have received word from Jacqui Browne, our friend and crew member of Ireland's yacht 'Cork' which recently ran aground on a submerged reef during the Clipper Round the World yacht race.
Jacqui has confirmed that unfortunately, the Cork Clipper could not be saved to re-enter the race. In her correspondence, she confirmed that the experience was difficult and unique, and although currently back in Ireland recovering from a torn ligament in her knee, Jacqui intends to rejoin the race for Leg 7 which leaves from Jamaica in May.
