Abtran Staff spent the day volunteering at our National Headquarters and Training Centre

Business Process Outsourcer, Abtran Limited, have selected Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind as one of their charities of choice. In a show of support,a team of Abtran employees spent one of their weekend days volunteering at our Training Centre in Cork.

The Team arrived dressed in casual gear, ready to put in a good day's work. Armed with gloves and tools, three teams enthusiastically rolled up their sleeves to prune and tidy our gardens, do some painting in our kennel block and groom some of our dogs in training.

We'd like to say a special thank you to everyone for lending a hand. It was a pleasure having you. Our volunteers on the day were:

Kennels Team: Amy Harrington, Laura Couch, Karen McSweeney, Oona Barry, Julie Cronin, Kirby Fleming and Sarah Keohane.

Painting Team: Lucy Roche, Lorraine O'Mahoney, Rebecca Leix, and Tania Murphy

Gardening Team: Brian O'Mahony, John Creedon, Lorraine Walsh, Kathleen Murphy, Michelle Hickey, Brigit O'Brien, Siobhan Coughlan
