K2NY Charity Challenge Press Release
A Charity Challenge with a difference has just been launched at K2NY Personal Training and Motivational Centre in Glanworth. The event has been organised to raise funds for a very worthy local Charity the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The Gauntlet has been thrown to the brave men (and women) who serve us in the Gardai, Army and Fire services. The Challenge involves timed trails on K2NYS purpose built all body blitzing obstacle course, with the top two teams from each service going through to compete against each other for the title of fittest service in Ireland.
Whilst obviously looking to prove their elite level of fitness each team is also raising much needed funds for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, who provide guide dogs for the blind and vision impaired persons and assistance dogs for families of children with Autism. The event co – coordinator is Elton Pierce a man well known in Corks Sporting scene.
Pat Reynolds, owner of K2NY says: ”We are very excited here at K2NY to hold our first Charity Challenge. The obstacle course adds a whole new dimension to our Personal Training Centre. While the participants in the Charity Challenge are at an elite level of fitness, we also train individuals, teams and hold corporate training days which can be challenging but also fun!”
