If you’re not in a position to engage in a long term partnership with us the Heroes campaign is a great way to get involved.
There are three main ways you can get involved this year.
Host a Lunch & Learn
We would be delighted to visit your place of work to inform staff about our life changing services and sell our popular Heroes merchandise items.
Many of our clients lead truly inspirational lives and listening to them speak have a very motivating influence on groups. We will of course bring one of our gorgeous dogs along as well!
In aid of event
Run a fun office fundraiser like a bake sale, heroes fancy dress, quiz or another engaging event to get the whole team involved. Ahead of your event we will send on fliers, promotional posters and where possible we can even try to arrange a furry friend to help boost interest, engagement and donations for the event!
Volunteer With Us
There are three ways you and your teams can volunteer with us for Heroes. There are team orientated tasks or tasks that can be undertaken individually. They include taking part in collections in the local community or coming to our HQ to help us prepare for the campaign. It’s a great way for staff to get away from their desks, bond and do their bit for society!
Place one of our Heroes collection boxes in a high footfall area of your workplace like reception or the canteen.
Staff can give a donation and get one of our “independence” wristbands or silver lapel pins (for the dog lover in your life!) to show their support for Irish Guide Dogs.
