Since 1976, we have grown to be one of Ireland’s most loved and trusted charities. This amazing achievement would not have been possible without the wonderful work of our people.
Our world-class staff are the backbone of the whole organisation. We are proud to have some of the most talented and experienced people in their fields as part of our team.
Our core purpose and focus is to enable people with vision impairment and families of children with autism to lead better lives, become more independent, and more mobile.
Visitors to our National Headquarters and Training Centre will have the opportunity to meet with some of our dedicated staff and volunteers.
The role played by our Volunteers is invaluable and is one of the cornerstones on which our future plans are built.
We receive over 85% of our income through voluntary donations and fundraising through our network of Volunteers across the country. We are indebted to the many hundreds of Volunteers who support us by fundraising week in, week out.
Volunteers are an essential part of our success. They play a major role in raising the funds which support our work. They train our pups, hold our breeding stock, volunteer in our offices and serve on our Board of Directors. They, too, are the foundation on which the organisation is built.
