Community spirit

There is a great Irish word, meitheal, which refers to a co-operative system in Ireland of yesteryear where neighbours helped each other with farming work, especially at harvest time. The word captures the essence of what our organisation is about – COMMUNITY!

Every single person involved with IGDB makes a difference. From our Breeders, Home Socialisers, Puppy Raisers, Temporary Boarders, Trainers, Staff, Volunteers and Clients, each have a shared common objective: to change lives.
