Challenge Yourself

Set a personal goal

You can Challenge Yourself to raise money to support our services. This can range from a sponsored walk, cycle, swim to an ultra-marathon and everything in between!

If you think you can take part in any event, or even part of an event, we would love to hear from you.

How fit should I be?

Depending on the event you are signing up for different physical challenges may arise. But we don’t require you to run a kilometre in 15 minutes or anything like that. If you are happy to challenge yourself to take part in an event then we are more than happy to support you in any way we can.

How much does it cost to take part in Challenge Yourself events?

We do not charge for our Challenge Yourself fundraising packs. Once you have registered to run in an event we will arrange to send a pack to you.

How much sponsorship do I have to raise?

We do not set minimum sponsorship targets. All money raised is greatly appreciated.

Each fundraising pack will contain a sponsorship card which will allow you to gather and record donations from family, friends and colleagues.

How do I set up my own online fundraising page?

Set up a page on JustGiving. We can help you do this.

When do I have to submit my sponsorship money?

We ask that you submit any money raised in the two weeks following the event. We realise that this is not always possible but it’s a good deadline to push for to help gather all the money you have raised.

If you have decided to create a online fundraising web page, all your sponsorship money from this page will automatically be sent directly to our bank account. Alternatively, you can send monies raised directly to us. Our address and bank details are here.

Alex "The Running Fireman" O'Shea

Guinness World Record holder Alex is a phenomenal supporter having taken on 32 marathons, in 32 counties in 16 days and leading the virtual Around the World Challenge.

Luke & Kain

Luke is still non-verbal but when I see him smiling down at Kain it shows me he doesn’t need words to express how happy he is.

Kim & Jango

Meeting Jango was one of the best moments of my life. He’s a beautiful big cuddly dog with the personality to match. From the moment I met him I knew we were going to be best buddies.

Shauna & Esme

When I needed a hand, I found a paw.

Conor & Quelda

When Conor is with Quelda he smiles and is comfortable being out and about which is such an amazing gift – we never leave home without her. She has changed all of our lives.

Aran & Buttons

Being a Guide Dog Owner is such a privilege and positive experience. Buttons has enhanced my life in so many ways and I will always be grateful for that.
